FOROS web

Forums

Since its origins, ‘World without Wars and without Violence’ has considered one of the most important instruments of progress, growth and openness to society and the world to be the holding of forums, conferences and events in the academic, educational and social fields.

Wherever WwW teams are active, these open spaces are encouraged and promoted, bringing together personalities, professionals and activists from different fields to present their proposals and exchange with a wide audience for a day or two. In its 25 years, some 50 forums and action days have been organized in 30 cities in 20 countries, in addition to the events of the World March.

They can take place in university settings as well as in public spaces, with lectures and debates, workshops and screenings of documentaries and films related to actions and ideas of peace and nonviolence. Wherever other organizations wish to participate, they are free to make their contributions.

The aim of the forums is:

to plan campaigns and actions of greater weight at a global level.

to become a reference for nonviolence

to generate dynamic cooperation and exchange with other organizations.

to be an area of convergence between activists and sympathizers and society.
