October 2: The International Day of Nonviolence

Notice: Test mode is enabled. While in test mode no live donations are processed.

This date was taken by the Humanist Movement and its organisations ever since, and each year around the world we organise; seminars, conferences, rallies, concerts, workshops, ceremonies, etc, etc in order to raise awareness of the contribution that nonviolence as a strategy can make to the development of humanity. Our biggest contribution so far has been the World March for Peace and Nonviolence which started on the 2nd of October 2009 in New Zealand and finished on the 2nd of January 2010 in Argentina. On the 2nd of October to mark the launch in Wellington, events took place in 300 cities around the world. For more information about how to take part in 2nd of October celebrations in your country, contact us at info@worldwithoutwars.org.
